Project Summary.
Laura at High Life North came to Paradox Digital with one aim – make her site easier to use and nicer on the eye. Her fashion and lifestyle magazine for the North East of England was struggling and needed the Paradox Digital “secret sauce”
The old site was old, clunky, slow to load and just didn’t fit the purpose foir which it was intended. The old content management system was hard to use, hard to update and just didn’t really work any more
So, we took ideas from the old design, and brought it right back up in to the 21st Century!
We stripped out all the completely unnecessary plugins that were being used, redesigned the whole frontend and got the whole thing loading in a fraction of the time it was before
Not only that, we added an account management system for her readers to able to comment and reply on articles, as well as earn points and ranks for sharing articles, saving their favourites, and even just logging in to the site!
We used our years of knowledge to get the SEO vastly improved, so that High Life North now ranks much better than her competitiors
Laura was ecstatic with the results, and her and her team are over the moon with how easy the new website is to use and update\
